Pressure measurement in organs 105-GP-1

Pressure is force per area! This principle, which is repeated in medicine, is the driving force behind the convective transport of substances (fluids, gases) in the body. Unfortunately, many different pressure units are used in anesthesia/intensive care medicine, so precise conversion is essential to estimate the function of interest. The most common pressures with their corresponding units of the various organs are demonstrated.
