This diagram gives a general overview of the highly adaptive ventilation mode "BIPAP". The core element of "BIPAP" is that one can breathe spontaneously both at the lower pressure level (PEEP) and at the upper one (Pinsp). According to patient efforts, a unique valve interplay allows them to open at both levels, making ventilation more synchronized.
